He has earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, is an autonomous advanced practice nurse, is certified as a family nurse practitioner, and is a fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
What is an autonomous advanced practice nurse? With this license and designation in the state of Florida, I can evaluate, order diagnostic studies, diagnose, and treat without the oversight of a physician. There are limitations to this licensure but the opportunities to provide services are tremendous!
